How To Join FLCLASS

Enrolling in FLCLASS is simple. Under Florida Statues, Section 218.415, Florida governments have the power to invest in any intergovernmental investment pool authorized pursuant to the Florida Interlocal Cooperation Act, as provided in Section 163.01 of the Florida Statutes. The Instrument of Adoption must be signed by the finance director, treasurer, chief financial officer, or other local official who is properly authorized to invest public funds of your entity.

After reading the FLCLASS Interlocal Agreement and Information Statement, Participants may join the program by one of two methods:

Method 1: Execute an Instrument of Adoption

  1. Adopt the Interlocal Agreement by signing the Instrument of Adoption
  2. Complete the Participant Registration 
  3. Complete the Authorized Contacts Form
  4. Complete the Accounts to be Established Form

- OR -

Method 2: Approve an Authorizing Resolution

  1. Pass the Resolution Authorizing Participation in FLCLASS
  2. Adopt the Interlocal Agreement by signing the Instrument of Adoption
  3. Complete the Participant Registration
  4. Complete the Authorized Contacts Form
  5. Complete the Accounts to be Established Form
